Franz Schubert / Piano Sonata Cycle Volume 1 / Anton Kuerti

A critic for ‘Fanfare’ wrote simply that “Kuerti is the best pianist currently playing”
CD Review (London) called him “one of the truly great pianists of this century”

CD INDISPENSABLE / GREAT PIANIST / CD ESSENTIAL

I think it's the best Schubert I heard in my life. A personal and unique interpretation, and the variations on the well-established way to perform these sonatas are perceived not as a fantasy of the pianist, but as a light that reveals a new meaning of the composition. Since the first notes you realize that you're listening to something exceptional, even for those who have already heard these sonatas by the greatest pianists. Thank you very much for this discovery, dear WFP. I hope you will publish soon the other volumes in the series Schubert / Kuerti.

Desconocía en absulto esta grabacion.
Solo me queda agradecer de nuevo y preguntar si tienes algo de Karl Engel y Schumann

No, just got the exceptional box of Mozart concerts and more two or three CDs.
